Welcome to Moon Caravan Records! Our aim is to support authentic sounds and real songwriters in honor of late cellist and friend Arthur Russell. The musical palette around here includes passionate ‘soul/folk’ from Milagro Saints, cool urban-acoustic stories coming from Milton, ear pleasing gritty-sweet vocals served up by deerfrance, the soft spelltrance of Joyce Bowden (jolei), and the deep color of Ernie Brooks with his ballads of longing and regret. We're so happy to have our newest artists: the starkly vast landscape of The Goodnight Graces and richly hung harmonies of Recent Memory -- a duo dedicated to performing the songs of their late friend and mentor Arthur Russell.
